Who we are

Guanacaste Tours is an independent guide to tours in Guanacaste. We do not operate the tours listed here. We may earn a fee when a referral leads to a booking.

Quote requests

When you send a quote request, we collect what you enter: the operators you ask about, where you're staying, dates, group size, activities, budget, your name and email, and any notes.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 on every visit to measure traffic, such as which pages people visit and which tours they click. It helps us improve the site. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (ID 4875475045903364) to measure visits from our ads on Facebook and Instagram. It loads only after you agree to it. If you say no, it doesn't load.

GetYourGuide

Some pages show tour options from GetYourGuide, a booking partner. To do that, we use GetYourGuide's script and widget (partner ID 6ZV7KMH). They load only after you agree to them. If you say no, they don't load. When they load, GetYourGuide may see your IP address and the page you're on, and may set cookies.

Cookies and your consent choice

Google Analytics runs on every visit and may use cookies. The Meta Pixel and GetYourGuide load only after you agree. Your choice is stored in your browser, so we don't ask every time. You can change it at any time.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to operators and booking partners. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Your questions

To ask about your data, or to have your request deleted sooner, email us at [email protected].
